Mayor of Kestel

Born in Erzurum in 1979, Ferhat Erol is a true Kestel local who has spent 40 years of his life in the streets, parks, and neighborhoods of Kestel. Completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in our district, Erol has pursued the question, "How can I add value to this city?" since his youth.

Our Mayor, grounding his academic vision with undergraduate studies in Business Administration, carried his interest in management sciences to an academic depth with a Master's in Political Science. Not only in theory but also practically involved in life, Erol experienced the challenges of trade and production firsthand through executive roles in his family business and developed a vision of "city building" through his experiences in the construction sector.

For Ferhat Erol, positions are temporary, but service is permanent. With this understanding, he undertook the founding of the Kestel Imam Hatip Construction and Sustenance Association and, as the Founding President of the Kestel Youth and Mountaineering Sports Club, connected our youth with nature and sports. Through his executive role at the Turkish Red Crescent Bursa Branch, he personally lived and kept alive the culture of solidarity in the field.
